There are many reasons why people choose to work one-to-one with me. It may be for just one session or a few before joining a group class. You may like regular weekly or fortnightly sessions to help you unwind after work or have a specific issue you would like yoga to help with over the longer term. Whatever health and wellbeing outcomes you’re seeking, yoga is an enjoyable, whole person body-mind approach to achieving improved health and wellbeing. It is endorsed by the NHS as a gentle form of exercise to improve mood, strength, flexibility and balance (NHS Live Well Guide to Yoga). You will move through life more easily as you grow stronger, more supple, confident and grounded.

In private one-to-one yoga the focus is 100% on you, and the particular outcomes you're seeking on your yoga journey. Working at a pace to suit you, I create a comfortable safe space centred on your aims and preferences.

Adaptations are offered to help you get maximum benefit from each Asana (posture); and breathing practices, relaxation and meditation are tailored to your specific needs.

Private yoga is available:

  • Distanced one-to one and one-to-two in my well-ventilated home studio;
  • Live-streamed one-to-one or one-to-two in the comfort of your own home, with the session recorded for you to enjoy later too
  • Distanced one-to-one, one-to-two or small group in your home/ spacious private venue.

I’m currently offering a special introductory three session private yoga course for complete beginners and anyone who would like to try one-to-one classes online or in my home studio. This is for you if would like to benefit from private yoga specifically designed around you.

I need not have worried when yoga classes in person had to stop during lockdown, as I continued with private classes online that really helped my mind and body. I have now returned to one to one private yoga and feel like a new person!
